For over 20 years, DR Design & Remodel, in Elk Grove, has been the leading expert in Custom Kitchens & Baths throughout the Sacramento region. With hundreds of projects completed yearly, we know that customizing a home is no simple task!
 
We are seeking a full-time Business Development Associate to build a new sales territory in the Sacramento region with our local showroom team. We are looking for an ambitious B2B sales rep who excels at prospecting for new clients.
 
Uncapped earning potential with incentive compensation!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develop new accounts through daily networking and prospecting with local builders, multi-family developers, restoration companies, interior designers, condo groups, etc.
    • Daily prospecting tasks include cold email outreach, cold calling, outreach via social media, office visits, and construction site visits. Our product category focus is cabinetry, countertops, and flooring installation.
    • Work with our team to develop bids, presentations, takeoffs, and change orders that are economically attractive to potential customers.
    • Travel and meet with clients in the field, as needed, to determine intended functionality, needs, and desired outcomes for their project.
    • Create sales forecasts and pipelines to share with your GM and senior management team.
    • In tandem with the GM and PM, act as the liaison between the company, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any installation issues onsite that may arise.
    • Work with multiple software tools across Microsoft Office, CRMs, and bidding/takeoff software.

Requirements:

    • 3-15 years of B2B account sales experience with a strong “hunter” mentality
    • Preferred: Experience in the building materials industry
    • Positive, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented attitude
    • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Office
    • Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license
    • Full-time in the field prospecting and onsite at the showroom
    • Monday – Friday, some off-hours work as needed by clients

Pay:

    • $55,000-$70,000 base, commensurate with experience, plus Uncapped Commission
