We are looking for motivated individual to lead a newly established multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering a major building and infrastructure project that will meet CSIT's needs over the next few decades.

This role will require you to deliver a great workplace through the following:

    • Lead the project team comprising specialist in various areas including B&I, M&E, digital workplace and security, to deliver the project from end-to-end in collaboration with key internal user groups and external stakeholders; from initial planning to tendering and evaluation, construction project management, transitioning to Operations & Support, and user onboarding/occupancy.
    • Collaborate with key external stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules, and manage budget.
    • Prepare and evaluate pre-tender and tender submission to ensure shortlisting of best candidates that best meet project needs on top of satisfying budget, schedule and deliverable requirements.
    • Conduct design reviews in close consultation with various user groups, understand and incorporate function-specific needs effectively in collaboration with external multi-disciplinary team (MDT), and engage leaders and stakeholders to ensure that proposals meet requirements and are aligned to expectations.
    • Implement smart workplace technologies and employ flexibility and future-proofing concepts in the space utilisations to support agility and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular project meetings and reviews to monitor progress across various project phases such as preliminary design, critical design, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning, and occupancy.
    • Monitor and track defects rectifications during the Defect Liability Period and ensure that defects are resolved timely.
    • Stay abreast of innovations in the building industry, as well as policy and governance updates relating to real estate and facilities maintenance management, building environment management, and smart building technologies.

Requirements

    • Tertiary qualifications in Architecture/Civil/M&E Engineering/Business Administration is preferred with focus on Construction Management with at least 10 years' relevant experience in building developments.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Resourceful and strong in problem-solving.
    • Able to work independently and in a team.
    • Detailed-oriented and robust organisational skills.
    • Strong work and compliance ethic.
    • Proficiency in common knowledge management, productivity and communications tools such as MS Office/Microsoft 365 product (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneDrive), Confluence

Nice to have

    • Experience in public sector office building projects and/or managing office building projects of value over $200M.
    • Good understanding of benchmarks, guidelines, statutory requirements and Singapore standards/Code of Practice in relation to construction management.
    • Familiarity with public services procurement methods and Project Management methodologies (e.g. Agile/Waterfall).
