Summary:
Cullinan Therapeutics is seeking a competitive intelligence professional with a strong scientific background and ability to collaborate across dynamic teams to help advance impactful therapeutic programs in oncology and autoimmune disease. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively providing competitive insights that enable informed decision-making and act as a thought partner for therapeutic development strategy. You will work cross-functionally as a key business partner for our preclinical, clinical, and business development teams delivering objective expert insights based on comprehensive analysis of scientific, clinical, and commercial data.
We are seeking a professional with strong communication skills, experience working with executive management, and ability to leverage internal and external resources to ensure informed decision making across our portfolio. The ideal candidate has a versatile skillset and has demonstrated agility in taking on new roles and responsibilities.

This position will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor competitive activity in key areas of oncology and autoimmune disease, emerging therapeutic modalities, mechanisms, and targets of interest. Synthesize impactful competitive intelligence and effectively deliver expert insights to leadership team and business partners
- Serve as competitive intelligence expert on therapeutic program teams and proactively identify impactful updates and developments.
- Attend scientific and medical conferences and collaborate with internal team members and external professionals to lead conference preparation, coverage, and debriefs.
- Support new products planning activities, including target product profile development, therapeutic positioning and value proposition, and preliminary revenue forecast planning.
- Aid in external opportunity assessment; support Business Development in evaluations for potential in-licensing and partnering activities.
- Maintain internal competitive intelligence databases/documents and evaluate new and emerging competitive intelligence resources and tools.
Candidate Requirements:
- Masters Degree in life sciences or related discipline; PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA in life sciences, technical, or analytical discipline is preferred.
- >4 years of life sciences industry experience; experience in R&D strategy or life science consulting preferred.
- Ability to lead internal teams and partner with external consultants
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment across multiple senior levels of management
- Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA in life sciences, technical, or analytical discipline
- Experience in R&D strategy or life science consulting preferred
