Position Summary
CuriMeta is a fast-growing healthcare data organization. Our dynamic, fun and highly experienced team is looking for a pragmatic, detail-oriented Project Manager to help drive address challenges faced by our clients. The work we do is related to advancing products in development using our leading-edge healthcare data, technology and analytic resources.

As a Project Manager at CuriMeta, you will be a key member of our Data team tasked with maximizing the value of CuriMeta’s data assets at our client and academic medical center data collaborators. Our Data team works in a cross-functional environment with representatives from other experts such as our Technology and Solutions groups.

You’ll act as a liaison representing both our clients’ needs and our delivery team’s expertise to ensure that our customers and data providers are maximizing the benefit of their relationship with CuriMeta. You will interact with customers and our academic medical center data providers’ staff to hear their challenges related to data access, data quality and data analysis, subsequently generating ideas and solutions to help them resolve these challenges as they undertake their ground-breaking healthcare and medical research.

Our team operates multiple projects simultaneously. You will be engaged on these to ensure you understand the strategic relationship across the portfolio of work our team does. You can expect to discuss the technical details, and to offer creative solutions to implement our projects and their related data access challenges. Our clients will look to you when it comes to finding ways to accelerate their products’ development and to help them get their products into patients’ hands sooner.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects operated by CuriMeta to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget and to clients’ or data collaborators’ satisfaction. The Project Manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor, and direct progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outputs, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development of healthcare data products and systems at CuriMeta and optimize the processes for access and use of our data providers’ health information. You will support the day-to-day activities of a mostly remote team working closely with operational, analytical, medical and clinical staff as well as customers and industry representatives.

Client / Customer-related duties
- Act as a liaison between clients and our delivery team staff to document and track progress against project requirements, timing expectations and content of outputs.
- Meet with customers to kick off projects, present project plans, deliver updates on status and discuss issues or changes.

Data Collaborator-related duties
- Act as liaison between data collaborator staff and CuriMeta teams to ensure clear documentation of requested data, timing for delivery, and reporting of progress.
- Work with Product Management and customer teams to gather, document, and submit requests for data resources and other content to data collaborators.
- Identify resources within the data collaborator staff to aid in the creation and delivery of new data products.
- Maintain metrics on data processing, and provide frequent reporting on progress as requested by management.

General Project Management-related duties
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with customers and internal CuriMeta team members.
- Collaborate across internal teams to anticipate, define, and satisfy CuriMeta data needs.
- Document project goals and objectives; create and adhere to project timelines and budgets.
- Schedule and attend meetings to manage the project communication, the resource plans and processes, and clearly record and follow up on project action items.
- Monitor progress towards project goals and report on any deviation from the project plan
- Meet regularly with project leadership and generate regular reports to keep them up to date
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex data analytic or healthcare-related issues to an educated audience.
- Advanced understanding of relevant methodology, statistics and practical research implementation.

- Ability to guide projects and teams.
- Experience working across departments and with Pharmaceutical and Biotech clients.
- Experience in Healthcare data strongly preferred.

Qualifications

    • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Certificates and Licenses: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

    • Location: St. Louis, MO metropolitan area residency is preferred but remote/hybrid candidates will be considered. Regular travel to company meetings and client sites when appropriate. Regular travel to customer and collaborator sites in St. Louis, MO is required.
