We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistician to own and manage the logistics and sustainment lifecycle of our hardware programs. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that critical parts, assemblies, and support packages are delivered on time, field-ready, and aligned with customer requirements. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and field operations—making sure the systems we build are operationally viable and supportable at scale.

Overall Responsibilities

    • Lead logistics planning and execution across the entire system lifecycle, from initial build through field deployment and sustainment.
    • Manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehousing to ensure traceability, accountability, and readiness.
    • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure logistics considerations are embedded early in product development.
    • Develop and maintain provisioning packages, spare parts lists, tool kits, and field support materials.
    • Own Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) deliverables including technical documentation, maintenance plans, and training materials.
    • Coordinate shipments of sensitive or classified hardware in accordance with ITAR and DoD guidelines.
    • Support field operations teams by ensuring availability of parts, tools, and replacements to minimize downtime and maximize mission readiness.
    • Collaborate with external suppliers and logistics partners to track and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Help establish logistics processes, standards, and systems as we scale the company and deploy more systems to customers.

Required Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or ILS roles—preferably in the aerospace, defense, or high-reliability hardware industry.
    • Experience supporting DoD programs or working within a defense contractor environment.
    • Strong understanding of MIL-STD, DFARS, ITAR, and government logistics requirements.
    • Hands-on familiarity with logistics software, ERP tools, and inventory tracking systems.
    • Clear, structured communicator with a bias for operational excellence and a high standard of precision.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment where process is evolving and speed matters.
    • Current Secret/Top Secret Clearance or an ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance.

ITAR Restrictions

    • To Conform to US Government Regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or National or U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Note: Those currently on OPTs and/or H1Bs do not currently qualify for ITAR. Learn more about the ITAR here.
