The Role

This role is responsible for leading the People and Talent team at Constantinople. Our People and Talent function will be a critical to our ability to scale and reach our potential as global technology leader. This is not your typical People and Talent role, we are building from the ground up, so experience creating and implementing People policies, building competency frameworks, and expanding our compensation frameworks are just some initiatives that will need to be created and delivered.

Given the scale, complexity and ambiguity of the problems that need to be solved, experience in start-up/scale up organisation that is in the early rounds of funding will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Do

    • Provide consultative, strategic guidance to senior management on organizational and People and Talent issues to move the business forward.
    • Develop and execute People and Talent strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Build and provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and succession planning.
    • Conduct regular, pro-active meetings with employees, managers, and leaders to develop, assess, and anticipate People related needs.
    • Build and provide guidance on performance evaluations, career development, and goal setting.
    • Implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires seamlessly into the organization.

Who You Are

    • Experience leading People and Talent functions in start/scale up, early funding round software engineering/technology organisations.
    • Desire to build policies and procedures in an early-stage environment.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex people-related and business challenges.
    • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws/landscape, and regulations.
