Constantinople is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team. Working closely with our Leadership teams, you will be responsible for managing our financial management processes and reporting. Your day could pivot from investment decks for capital-raising to defining GTM strategy to working with the team to solve critical operational issues.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, working with various departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to track budget versus actual performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for cost optimisation.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in all financial activities.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Xero, Confluence)
- Knowledge of fintech and digital financial services is a plus.
