Compliance Analyst (GRC)
- The Compliance Analyst, integral to our Governance Risk and Compliance team, will play a key role in developing and managing our comprehensive compliance framework, data privacy, and vendor risk management program.
Responsibilities
- Support team operations, raise awareness on compliance and privacy, and contribute across various compliance functions.
- Assess, track, and communicate the technology and compliance risk management requirements, and the control, identifying and escalating risks as needed.
- Implement and conduct compliance monitoring based on risk assessments, ensuring prioritization of critical areas.
- Coordinate and execute compliance assessments, process breakdowns against organizational technology and compliance risk management requirements, including any planned remediation; ensuring the team has a documented, rationalized, and repeatable assessment methodologies.
- Assist in developing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and participate in regular compliance risk reviews and audit planning.
- Perform compliance and privacy assessments including vendor agreements and sanction screenings.
- Prepare detailed analysis and reports with recommended corrective actions.
- Follow up on previous findings to ensure timely remediation of compliance issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to draft, maintain, and enforce company policies and standards.
- Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders for annual SOC 2 and ISO 27001 attestation.
- Manage privacy-related inquiries and data subject requests, including conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs).
- Support vendor due diligence and manage compliance documentation. ▪ Develop corporate security and data privacy training materials.
- Utilize technical expertise to support privacy compliance, including AI-related privacy issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. 7+ years of experience in compliance roles.
- Knowledgeable in executing all elements of an effective compliance program.
- CISA, CIPP certifications are a plus. Experience with GRC solutions preferred.
- Familiarity with data protection regulatory requirements.
- High personal integrity with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good judgment and maturity.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, changing business environment.
