About us:
Cyvl is a Boston-based tech startup revolutionizing the way civil engineering firms and governments map and manage transportation infrastructure. Our enterprise-grade hardware and software solutions leverage 3D mapping sensors to capture LiDAR, imagery, and GPS data, retrofitted to our customers' vehicles. This data is processed through our AI-powered cloud pipelines to generate actionable condition and geospatial reports, saving our customers time, money, and resources. We are in a phase of rapid growth, disrupting a massive and outdated market with our innovative solutions.

About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product development across our hardware-enabled software platform and help define what comes next. This is a highly cross-functional role with big impact: you’ll ship tools that get used daily by public works teams, engineering consultants, and civic leaders. You’ll collaborate with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to prioritize the most urgent problems and deliver elegant, effective solutions — fast.

If you’re motivated by shipping real products that help real communities, this role is for you.

What you'll do

    • Work closely with the leadership team to understand the company’s vision and identify problems to solve that align with that vision
    • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand key jobs-to-be-done and translate them into smart, focused product decisions
    • Define and track clear success metrics tied to usage, retention, and business growth
    • Work closely with engineering and design to scope work, unblock decisions, and execute with urgency
    • Support GTM efforts by collaborating on launch strategy, pricing experiments, and product demos
    • Help shape the product culture at Cyvl — you’ll be an early and foundational member of the team

Qualifications

    • 4-7 years of experience in product management or related field in B2B software
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship impactful products
    • Strong product sense and customer empathy — you know how to turn vague problems into clear solutions
    • Comfortable digging into data, aligning stakeholders, and making fast, informed trade-offs
    • Technical fluency — you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should understand APIs, data models, and the basics of modern AI/ML workflows
    • Bonus: experience working on civic tech, infrastructure, GIS, or vertical SaaS
    • Bonus: exposure to public sector, urban systems, or field-data workflows

What we offer:

    • Competitive salary and equity package
    • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
    • Opportunities for career growth in a high-impact, cross-functional role
    • A collaborative and fast-paced environment solving critical infrastructure challenges
    • Autonomy and ownership from day one

Ideal Cyvl Candidate:

    • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
    • Quick thinker and adaptable under pressure
    • Technically hands-on and comfortable rolling up their sleeves
    • Great communicator who can instill customer confidence
    • Energized by being on the front lines of technology deployment
    • Obsessed with getting things done
$150,000 - $190,000 a year
