D-Fend Solutions Inc., the world leader in Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems, (C-UAS)/Counter Drone Technologies is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing North American Team.
This position is located in McLean, Virginia, United States (on-site)
This position will play a key role in our fast-growing start-up and assist in expanding our business in the Public Safety Sector, which includes State and Local Law Enforcement entities and critical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering, pursuing, and closing new sales prospects across these sectors and building and maintaining a strong customer base.
Specific Duties and Activities:
- The successful individual in this role will actively participate in all aspects of the sales cycle in the Public Safety markets focused on selling D-Fend’s EnforceAir Counter Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS)
- Direct and oversee the entire sales capture process, focusing on customers and accounts aligned to the company's strategic objectives, from initial customer interaction through capture of purchase orders, driving sales growth and achieving sales targets
- Develop, Establish, and maintain business relationships with partners and customers across the Public Safety ecosystem, to include Law Enforcement, cities and municipalities and security companies
- Participate and be prepared to lead D-Fend’s position in trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and customer events as needed to support sales capture.
- Develop and manage the Sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, and present sales plans and sales updates as needed to company peers and leadership, utilizing the company’s CRM system and associated sales management tools.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of D-Fend’s EnforceAir product, and effectively present information about the Company, Product and solutions to customers and partners.
- Foster a customer-centric approach in all activities, collaborating with Pre-Sales engineering, Business Development and other company resources to develop and communicate sales strategies, capture plans, demonstration activities, and delivery of white papers or proposals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in executing sales campaigns, with a successful sales record in the Public Safety market, with a specific focus on selling commercial products (HW and SW).
- Strong relationships within the Public Safety market, Local and State agencies, and private security companies.
- Proven experience in executing sales campaigns, with a successful sales record in selling to Security firms, Public Safety agencies, State and local law enforcement and commercial venues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong ability to lead sales engagements and meetings.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize efforts, and adjust quickly.
- Ability to work in outdoor environment for demonstration and customer events which may require lifting of equipment, setting up equipment and travelling with equipment.
- Ability to travel frequently (~50%).
- Based in the DC area.
