We are seeking a skilled RF Automation Test Engineer to join our R&D team. This role is crucial in developing and implementing automated RF testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in RF systems with strong programming skills to create efficient and reliable test environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of RF technology within our R&D group, contributing to innovative product development and advancing our testing capabilities. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring the quality and performance of our RF systems through cutting-edge automation and testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated RF test development tools using Python and other relevant programming languages.
- Configure, calibrate, and operate advanced RF test equipment, including VSGs and SAs, for a wide range of RF measurements.
- Create sophisticated RF test setups for product validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Analyze test results, generate comprehensive reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate automated RF testing into the product development cycle.
- Stay current with emerging RF technologies and testing methodologies, proposing and implementing improvements to existing test processes.
- Contribute to the development of RF testing strategies aligned with R&D goals and product roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in RF testing and measurement techniques - Must
- Strong proficiency in Python programming - Must
- Hands-on experience with Vector Signal Generators (VSG) and Spectrum Analyzers (SA)
- In-depth knowledge of RF calibration procedures and standards.
- Ability to design and build complex RF test setups using attenuators, couplers, and other RF components..
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, computer science , or a related field.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with drone RF systems, including communication protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, ELK) and software development processes (e.g., Agile, CI/CD).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of wireless communication standards (e.g., Wi-Fi, cellular technologies).
