Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers who want to completely revolutionize air travel within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles.

Your role:
To break stuff, and help us find out why it broke.

Your tasks:

    • Working with design to develop test programs, test methods and test plans to verify individual CBAs as well as full systems compliant to DO-254.
    • Designing, assembling, and debugging automated test fixtures.
    • Writing and debugging code for automated test fixtures.
    • Executing test plans or ensuring that they get executed in a timely manner.
    • Analyzing test results and author design verification test reports.
    • Hands-on involvement in all stages of prototype and product development, from design and requirements validation to production testing.
    • Working with external labs to plan and execute DO-160G qualification tests.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

    • Hands-on experience with electronics.
    • MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or related technical field or equivalent experience.
    • A background in engineering with a strong academic record and a demonstrated ability to convert theory into practice.
    • Avionics experience is a plus, but certainly not required.
