A great opportunity has arisen to join our growing global business in Brampton in the role of Financial Analyst. We have a friendly and supportive team and are looking for someone that is ambitious and would like to grow and develop in a growing global medical services organization. The Financial Analyst will report to the Commercial Finance Manager and will work closely with our Operations and Sales teams on commercial projects and activities.

Responsibilities:

    • Perform financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends, benchmarking, and to increase financial performance
    • Support cost-analysis and price modeling
    • Assist in month end procedures including booking entries
    • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
    • Effectively present findings and recommendations to Commercial Finance Manager and Business Unit Leaders (verbally and visually)
    • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in support of business initiatives and performance
    • Aid in budgeting and expenditure planning processes
    • Drive process improvement and cost-savings initiatives
    • Collaborate across various departments on ad-hoc projects and initiatives
    • Other duties as assigned

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years experience working in Public Accounting or a Financial Analyst role in Industry
    • BS and ideally working towards CPA
    • Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data
    • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers
    • Capable of managing projects and time in order to meet crucial deadlines
