About the Role
Step into a hands-on, high-energy role within our passionate Equipment Engineering Team, where your work directly contributes to the manufacturing and assembly of our cutting-edge machinery—designed and built in Australia, and deployed across our global sites. Working hours are 6.30am - 3.30pm Monday- Friday. This is a full- time salaried role with NO overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and assembly of our automated sharps processing systems
- Fabricate components for machine servicing and spare parts
- Perform TIG welding on light and heavy gauge stainless steel
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to bring designs to life
- Construct final systems from sub-assemblies with precision and care
- Uphold high standards of quality and safety
- Collaborate with a team that values innovation, learning, and excellence
Experience, Skills and Qualifications?
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A self-starter with a solid work ethic and a great sense of humour
- Able to follow procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who thrives both independently and in a team setting
- Previous experience in a Fitting role (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- TIG welding certification preferred, or willingness to undertake certification training
- Trade qualification in Engineering Mechanical, Fitter, or equivalent (Certificate III level preferred but not essential)
- Australian work rights or valid work visa required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a manufacturing environment with standing for extended periods
