In Australia, we lived out our dream. Investing years into R&D to create the safest containment system in the world and taking on the industry status quo to petition for higher standards in sharps protection, we witnessed an 80+ percent reduction in disposal-related needlestick injuries nationwide. And then we kept going...

Duties and Responsibilities:

    •   Work with leadership to develop strategies under the three pillars of ESG – Environment, Social, and Governance
    •  Champion the development and enhancement of sustainability and social initiatives across the organization
    •  Work with business managers to improve client compliance with biomedical waste regulations
    •  Monitor emerging sustainability risks and opportunities, providing insightful business direction to meet carbon reduction targets
    •  Gather the organization’s carbon impact data and maintain carbon accounting spreadsheet
    •  Meet with client and community groups as required

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience with compliance auditing and reporting
    • Experience with community engagement and outreach
    • Comfort with delivering presentations, leading training programs, and pitching ideas
    • Prior knowledge of carbon emission reporting
    • Post secondary in Environmental Studies an asset
    • Experience in customer compliance an asset
