Daniels Health is looking for a skilled Windows Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the full lifecycle of our internal application development—from design and coding to testing and maintenance. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multiple business units to support project development and data reporting needs, helping to build tools that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

This role can be performed remotely by someone based in the United States or Canada.

Role Overview

    • Design, develop, and support internal databases (SQL, NoSQL, Databricks) and Windows-based applications.
    • Work closely with the team to maintain existing applications and support end users.
    • Gather requirements from business units (e.g., engineering and sales) and interact with customers when needed to understand solution needs.
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate business systems or assist in application development.
    • Assist with researching, testing, and deploying reporting-based projects.
    • Follow a reliable software development life cycle process, including code changes, testing, and deployment.
    • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of work and planned changes.
    • Work with Business Analysts to understand needs, research solutions, and recommend technologies to management.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of programming experience with Windows technologies.
    • Proficient in C#, WinForms, WPF, and Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server/Azure).
    • Familiar with MSMQ, WCF, Microsoft Azure App Services, and basic Visual Basic.
    • Exposure to other languages/frameworks like PHP, Node.js, Python is a plus.
    • Experience with shell scripting and hardware/PLC communications preferred.

Special Requirments

    • Occasional travel necessary to accommodate for global and regional meetings, workshops or training.
    • Ability to occasionally join calls before / after traditional office hours

$65,000 - $95,000 a year
