We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team! Role Overview
You will be joining a global marketing team that manages all facets of digital marketing, internal and external communications, lead generation, tender writing, and multi-functional design – it’s a happening department and there is never a dull moment! Our design needs are very broad – you will be working on digital projects, new brand identities, event branding, customer proposals and many beautiful printed things. We guarantee that you will have your hands full! We have multiple brands that we are responsible for, so there will be a component of your role that is focused on building the visual identity of several brands on social and digital platforms.
What you will do
- Conceptualize and manage digital and printed design projects in collaboration with the other graphic designers and broader marketing team
- Be design support for our multitude of brands and drive brand direction across social media and other advertising platforms
- Design advertising for retargeting, social media and other web-based campaigns
- Design digital landing page imagery and digital assets for recruitment, sales campaigns and blogs
- Printed design initiatives including brochures & flyers, trade show banners, vehicle wraps, uniforms and signage
- Provide design support for customer proposals, presentations and tender responses
- Attend strategy sessions with marketing and communications leadership
Candidate Profile
- Experience
- 4+ years working in a commercial environment in a design role that includes both printed and digital design
- Experience owning brand guidelines, upholding a company’s “look and feel” whilst applying creative innovation to each independent project
- Experience designing for web and social platforms
- Experience with project management and managing project timelines (not only your own, but also of any contractors)
- Experience in scoping & leading projects from start to finish (particularly projects that span across different departments)
- Skills
- Loves design! Strong flair in ideation & innovation.
- High level of proficiency in the use of the Adobe Suite; particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a plus!
- Self-starter, detail oriented, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Has an innate creativity to conceptualize designs in accordance with our branding guidelines, whilst also possessing the technical graphic design skills to materialize them
- Have the ability to self-manage your time and projects from initiation through to completion, in addition to managing any external contractors in tandem, providing them clear timelines and deliverables
- Skilled in working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to eloquently present concepts and explain design approach and reasoning
- Receptive and appreciative of feedback, and enjoys a collaborative environment
- Extremely strong organizational and time-management skills in workflow, deadline adherence and file organization is a must
- Experience in basic animation/motion graphics is a plus!
