We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This is a varied and challenging role that offers exposure to a wide range of entities including companies, trusts, and not-for-profit organisations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our diverse business units. Your responsibilities will include:
Accounts Payable & Receivable
-Input and process supplier invoices across multiple entities
-Ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal controls
-Set up and schedule payments in line with cash flow requirements
Journal Entries & General Ledger
-Prepare and post accurate journal entries
-Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
-Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconciliations
-Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
-Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
Reporting & Compliance
-Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits
-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Project Support
-Assist with ad hoc financial projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and integration of new entities
-Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on financial matters
Cross-Entity Coordination
-Work across multiple business units, including charitable foundations and investment entities
-Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
-Completion of VCE or equivalent
-Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced skills preferred)
-Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar accounting software
-Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
-Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
-Strong organisational and time management skills
