Digital Workplace Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Infrastructure Architect to join our team. You’ll use your individual creativity to create and promote innovative solutions across the range of our IT Service offerings, which include, but aren’t limited to, network, cloud, data centre, security and managed services.
You’ll be involved with technical pre-sales scoping and costing of solution engagements, working directly with our sales specialists and clients to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology. You’ll become fully immersed in the client’s technical environment so you can make the best recommendations.
The core objectives and responsibilities of the Digital Workplace Architect include:
1) Managing technology strategy for Office IT working with and managing feedback from multiple stakeholders across teams and leadership teams
2) Defining the future state (“to-be” architecture), directly inputting in the business in strategy formulation and collecting LOB input
3) Responsible to architect end-user elements, such as Data Privacy, Security requirements, Policies, Commercial Implications, Licensing
4) Sponsor the adoption of User Centred Design and Design Thinking
We are looking for an experience architect with a broad technical background who has a strong knowledge of architecture frameworks. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive production relationships. You will have a consultative approach with the ability to influence senior management and project leaders.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience:
Managing Desktops, Laptops and Virtual Desktops
Mobility in terms of Mobile Phones and Mobile Devices
Windows 10 and Microsoft Online Services
Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite / Microsoft SCCM / VMware WorkSpace One
Active Directory / GPO / Azure AD / Intune
