Senior DataOps Engineer

We are looking for an experimented DataOps to join our Tech team. We need someone to help us improve our data pipeline architecture & performances. We expect autonomy, strong communication skills & capacity to help us scale in terms of Data Ops.
This open position comes at a particularly exciting time when we are accelerating these efforts and building our core organization.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it
Audit and enhance performances of our Databases/Data lakes (SQL Server/Spark/Snowflake...)
Create and maintain a state-of-the-art Data Science and Machine Learning infrastructure (Data life cycle, versioning, model creation...)
Be a leader and a facilitator for all Data-linked jobs company-wide.
Help us improve the tools, automation, and monitoring of our Data.
Basically, Improve the quality of life in terms of Data Ops for the fast-growing organization which is Datahawk.

Our current stack includes technologies and tools such as .NET Core, Angular, Azure Services, SQL Server, Spark, Snowflake, Python, Github, Asana, Notion and many more.
For this role, you will be working hand-in-hand with Ludovic (our VP of Engineering), Isaac (our CTO), and Sylvain (our CPO).

[ ] Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data or similar
[ ] Collaborative work in a human-sized team
[ ] A solid experience as a DataOps engineer
[ ] You know your way around a DataOps environment
[ ] Experience in SQL Server
[ ] Knowledge of Spark or Snowflake
[ ] Experience in Machine Learning and Data-Science frameworks
[ ] Good understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure
[ ] Ability to work in a Microsoft environment (Windows, C#, SSMS...), Linux knowledge is a plus.
[ ] Scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI...)
[ ] Expertise in DevOps tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes...)
[ ] Fluent in English
[ ] Autonomous and self-organized
[ ] Healthy Passion: Keep up-to-date on advances in the field
[ ] Ability to rapidly identify opportunities for improvement and provide creative solutions
[ ] Comfortable with peer-working, reviews, etc.

Upon positive feedback, you'll go through a half an hour interview with someone from our management team to describe to you in detail how we see things at DataHawk.
If everything still looks good, we will schedule a more extended interview with some of our Tech team engineers.
Provided everything went great on both sides, the final interview will be with the hiring manager and another team member to discuss your past experiences in more detail and answer the last questions you may have. Finally, you'll have the occasion to meet one or several of our founders for a quick informal chat.

Salary: 60,000€ to 80,000€ depending on profile
