Dataiku is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our West Coast sales team. Since the launch of our company in the US in we have experienced healthy growth and steady market demand. This is an individual contributor position, newly added due to business expansion.

We’re looking for someone who can express passion about new technologies and the possibilities Big Data and Advanced Analytics offer across a range of industries to mid-market customers within Central and Western US. This role consists of engaging prospects and customers about their related initiatives to help them develop a more efficient approach, leveraging our platform DSS.

This individual is responsible for the entire sales cycle, while being able to leverage various company resources, to reach a successful collaboration with the prospect. Dataiku has had strong market growth since our start in the US, and has continued momentum going into 2020.

Responsibilities:

    • Educate mid-market customers on the value of Dataiku in a thoughtful way
    • Provide recommendations based on a customer’s business needs and usage patterns
    • Manage multiple customers simultaneously at various stages of the Dataiku buying cycle
    • Handle inbound customer communication and organize/escalate issues appropriately including: billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries
    • Drive revenue through proactive outreach to existing customers
    • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product

Requirements:

    • 5+ years relevant work experience in an account management or sales role, preferably in software
    • Competitive and driven to achieve goals
    • Articulate and poised with a clear and concise spoken and written communication style
    • Consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
    • Flexible, adaptive, and resilient
    • Comfortable traveling up to 20%
    • Experience in ‘data’ – big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, data integration a major plus
    • Open to remote
