This is how we hope to describe the Senior Accountant that will soon join Dataiku to help us build out our finance and accounting teams in the US and globally.

Responsibilities:

    • Participate in month-end close procedures, including the preparation of reconciliations and schedules required to support the internal and external reporting process
    • Prepare and record monthly transactions to support the G/L close
    • Perform ad hoc projects for management
    • Participate in system implementations,  improvements, and upgrades
    • Work with and support international accounting teams
    • Support tax projects and tax accounting
    • Support the financial reporting processes for internal and external reporting
    • Work with FP&A to identify and explain fluctuations in monthly financial information
    • Work with and support revenue accounting team
    • Support the annual  year-end audit and any regulatory or tax audits
    • Work with third party accounting firms to ensure  month-end close is timely
    • Assist in setting up processes and procedures for new international entities
    • Participate in month-end consolidation process

Qualifications:

    • BS or above degree in Accounting
    • CPA required
    • 5+ years experience, with public/private mix preferred
    • Able to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
    • Able to work on a team and independently to deliver results
    • Netsuite experience preferred
    • International exposure is a plus
    • SEC exposure is a plus
