Job Overview:
As an iOS Engineering Manager at DAZN, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of talented iOS developers. You will play a key role in driving the development of our iOS applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the overall success of our streaming platform.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of iOS developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Set clear goals, provide feedback, and facilitate professional growth for team members.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the iOS engineering team.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and expertise in iOS application development.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant iOS applications.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of iOS development projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to identify and address issues in a timely manner.
Stay Current with Technology:
Keep abreast of industry trends, iOS development best practices, and emerging technologies.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance the iOS development process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in leading and managing iOS development teams.
Strong background in iOS application development, including Swift and Objective-C.
In-depth knowledge of iOS frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
