As the VP Sales, you will be a key driver in propelling our sales strategy and execution to new heights. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is a people manager role, where your leadership will be crucial in developing and mentoring a team of sales professionals.
 
This role will be based in Chicago, US.

As our new VP Sales, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and drive growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Oversee the development of sales training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our brand and services.

You'll have:

    • Proven leadership experience in sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
    • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to make informed business decisions.
    • Proficiency in sales tools and CRM software.
    • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
    • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving excellence.
    • 10+ years in media / sponsorship sales experience
    • 4+ years in management
    • Must be based in “Chicago”, willing to travel.
