Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior AI & Web Automation Software Engineer to join our team and help build our core monitoring and enforcement service. This system processes hundreds of millions of requests monthly to detect and remove personal data online. You will work alongside the VP of Engineering to develop resilient, scalable, and AI-driven solutions that power our privacy protection platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality, resilient systems using Python.
- Develop AI-driven agents that automate browser interactions for PII monitoring within your first 30 days.
- Ensure 90%+ on-time project delivery and maintain uptime compliance.
- Leverage a blend of white hat and black hat techniques combined with AI technologies (LLMs, agents, etc.) to interact with data sources efficiently.
- Utilize proxies and other networking techniques to optimize data collection and avoid detection.
- Build scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Work with security teams to address compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Product to solve complex customer challenges.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and promote a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Python developer
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for contributing to a collaborative culture that values innovation, continuous improvement, and personal accountability.
- Excellent knowledge of OOP and functional programming
- Strong Python development experience across web development, distributed systems, and AI (LLMs, agents, etc.).
- GenAI/LLM & Agentic AI experience highly desired
- Experience with browser automation, web scraping, proxies, and data extraction techniques.
- Expertise in scalable architectures and high-reliability systems.
- Ability to apply white hat and black hat methodologies in a responsible and ethical manner.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g. SOC2).
- A proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- This role may require occasional domestic and international travel. All standard travel expenses will be covered in accordance with the company's travel reimbursement policy.

$180,000 - $230,000 a year
The salary listed is base + bonus included and is determined depending on experience and interview outcome.
