At Deliverect, our API-first platform is revolutionizing commerce by providing a connected suite of on and off-premise solutions. We empower both the food and retail industries to expand their revenue and simplify their operations, creating seamless experiences for businesses to sell anywhere and deliver everywhere. Join us in this exciting journey, where your contributions will directly impact how businesses connect with their customers in a rapidly evolving global market.

Department focus:

The Product Department at Deliverect is at the forefront of the digital ordering revolution, dedicated to consistently delivering groundbreaking solutions to the global marketplace. Our team of passionate and innovative engineers, designers, and product managers architect tools that empower businesses to thrive in the evolving digital landscape, streamlining digital ordering for delivery and on-premise services. We are committed to creating user-friendly, dependable, and scalable technology that simplifies operations and enhances customer experiences, playing an integral role in the success of businesses worldwide. In our department, innovation is not just a concept; it's the driving force behind everything we do.

Deliverect Restaurants offers integration between a customer's Point-of-Sale (POS) system and sales channels so that they can aggregate all online orders and create and update menus across delivery platforms. It also provides centralised access to critical sales data and analytics.
Deliverect Restaurants is built on a robust and dependable API (application programming interface) ecosystem. We have worked with 500+ partners to build best-in-class API integrations, meaning many of the most popular apps, platforms, and systems already integrate with us. This means customers can scale easily while using technology (POS, Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)) they already know. On the Restaurants team we own the product that is at the heart of this robust ecosystem. We also work closely with our extended suite of products as the Restaurants product often serves as the foundation for our other offerings

Your Impact:

As a Product Manager for Deliverect Restaurants, you will play a critical role in shaping our product portfolio, leading the development and execution of impactful product strategies that align with business goals and customer needs. Your customer-centric and data-driven approach will ensure the delivery of exceptional products that drive customer satisfaction and business growth within the tech, foodservice, or hospitality sectors.

*This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Ghent, Belgium office and 2 days from the comfort of your home.

What you will do:

    • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle (approx. 30%): Own and drive the entire product journey from initial ideation and concept development through to successful launch and post-launch optimisation, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and business goals. This involves continuous iteration based on market feedback and performance data to maximize product impact and customer value.
    • Collaborate and define product features (approx. 25%): Work closely with diverse stakeholders, including customers, engineering teams, and sales, to gather insights, define detailed product requirements, and prioritise features based on thorough analysis of customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. This includes actively seeking out and addressing customer pain points to inform product development.
    • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and business cases (approx. 15%): Create and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, outlining key initiatives, timelines, and dependencies. Develop compelling business cases for new features and products, demonstrating their potential impact on revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Decisions regarding significant roadmap changes or resource allocation will be made by you, escalating to leadership for strategic alignment when necessary.
    • Leverage data for continuous optimisation (approx. 10%): Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) and various data sources to measure product effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to continuously optimise product performance and user experience. This includes proactively monitoring product health and stability.
    • Ensure seamless delivery with engineering teams (approx. 10%): Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the development process to ensure clear communication of requirements, address technical challenges, and facilitate the smooth and timely delivery of product initiatives, particularly those involving APIs and integrations.
    • Lead and manage complex projects (approx. 5%): Take ownership of complex product projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, effective coordination, and timely delivery of high-quality outcomes. This requires strong organisational skills and the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards a shared goal.
    • Communicate and influence stakeholders (approx. 5%): Act as a primary communicator for your product area, effectively presenting product strategies, updates, and performance to internal teams (including leadership, sales, and marketing) and external stakeholders (such as partners and key customers). This requires strong negotiation and persuasion skills to gain buy-in and align diverse perspectives.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and foster innovation: Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and ensure Deliverect's product vision remains at the forefront of the market. This role requires inherent creativity in developing new features and improving existing ones to enhance customer experiences.

What you will bring:
