Your Impact

Are you passionate about technology and possess a keen understanding of the complexities of restaurant operations? Are you a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment? If so, Deliverect's Account Executive (Mid-Market) role might be the perfect fit for you! In this pivotal position, you'll become a trusted advisor for mid-sized restaurant chains (8-50 locations), helping them navigate operational challenges and achieve significant growth through our innovative order management solution. Your role will be instrumental in driving our growth and success in your assigned territory. 

Develop Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by mid-sized restaurant chains, including order management complexities, integration needs, and growth aspirations.

Leverage Technical Knowledge: Analyze restaurant models, identify integration hurdles, and tailor Deliverect solutions for maximum impact using your expertise in APIs, integrations, POS systems, and third-party delivery services.

Build Strong Relationships: Foster trust and clear communication with a diverse set of stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and internal sales & implementation teams.

Drive Business Growth: Develop winning sales strategies, deliver compelling presentations, and effectively negotiate contracts to secure high-value deals that contribute significantly to company growth.

A Typical Day

    •  Identify, contact, and qualify key decision-makers in potential merchant organizations. Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to introduce Deliverect’s solutions. Utilize various methods, including cold-calling, email, video calls, and in-person meetings, to form connections with potential customers.
    • Build long-lasting relationships with new and active merchants, ensuring they understand the value of Deliverect’s products. Act as a consultative guide, showcasing Deliverect's unique value proposition and demonstrating how our solutions can optimize their operations.
    • Navigate intricate sales cycles and negotiate agreements with key decision-makers, from busy restaurant owners to C-level executives. Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams - Sales Engineers, Product Management, Support, Finance, and Legal - to orchestrate end-to-end sales processes and tailor product presentations and workshops to meet each customer's needs.
    • Cultivate ongoing connections with existing customers to uncover cross-selling and upselling opportunities, contributing to their success while maximizing growth opportunities. Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions in our CRM tool HubSpot to ensure no detail goes unnoticed and to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and qualification. Provide regular updates on sales activities and results to the Sales Manager. Analyze calls and identify coaching opportunities to continuously improve your sales skills.

Your Expertise

    • 2+ years of B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software Sales Experience with a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions and exceeding sales targets.
    • Deep knowledge of APIs, integrations, POS systems, and third-party delivery services, allowing you to address technical complexities and craft seamless solutions.
    • Familiarity with MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger methodologies and the ability to effectively apply them throughout the sales cycle.
    • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information

    • This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Toronto office and 2 days of remote work. Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills being essential. Fluency in French is a plus.
