We are based in NYC and currently operate in NYC, NJ, Philadelphia, Miami, Chicago, and Washington DC. We fulfill millions of deliveries a year using our distributed network of couriers. Additionally, our software provides a unified management system for orders across all delivery platforms and a scalable courier force to ensure on-time delivery no matter the circumstance.
About This Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in sales and gain valuable experience in the dynamic world of online ordering and marketing solutions. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team while developing your own skills and knowledge within the industry. For this role, you must be located in Miami, as some in-person time is required. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
What You'll Do
- Assist the sales team in executing a buyer-centric sales process, focusing on solving real problems and building meaningful relationships.
- Learn to become a social selling expert and gain in-depth knowledge of the restaurant delivery industry.
- Support the acquisition of new restaurant accounts by prospecting and conducting research through various channels, including internet research, social media, cold calling, networking, and more.
- Engage with restaurant owners and stakeholders online, over the phone, and in person, demonstrating the value of our solutions and negotiating agreements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of our restaurant network and your own professional development.
What You Need:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn about the sales process and the restaurant industry.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using sales and productivity tools, such as CRM systems, outreach platforms, and Google Apps (experience with Hubspot is a plus).
- Passionate about sales, technology, and building lasting relationships with clients.
- Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Work closely with a supportive and experienced sales team.

$12 - $15 an hour
This internship is a part-time position. Per your academic institution's capability, this internship may be eligible for school credit. Should school credit be offered, this will be an unpaid internship. If school credit is not offered, this will be paid on an hourly basis.
