Our Financial Advisory team is looking for a part time Personal Assistant to join us in Christchurch.
 
About this team:
Our Financial Advisory team support clients on a range of their most strategic and complex priorities. We deliver services across a broad spectrum of offerings including M&A transactions, valuation, commercial and infrastructure advisory and business modelling. This is an exciting role working with our Partners and the broader team to support business activities within a growing Financial Advisory practice. This is your chance to join a market leading professional services firm and develop your skills with an innovative, high-performing organisation that is committed to its people.

Reporting to our Partners, this position will see you play a key role in providing comprehensive support to them and to the wider team, to assist with driving and implementing initiatives, as well as diary management and general administration support. 

This is a part time role, envisaged to be 15-20 hours a week. We are happy to structure these hours in a way that provides you with the flexibility to meet other demands in your life. 
 
Your typical week will include:
• Pipeline Management - including producing and distributing pipeline reporting, producing insights, attending meetings and working closely with Partners and Managers to ensure the pipeline is current. 
• Diary Management and travel arrangements - managing demanding diaries and anticipating and coordinating travel. 
• Document Finalisation: review, prepare and proficiently format letters, reports and other documents to high standard.
• Monthly client billing and reporting - including ensuring invoices are processed, resolving billing system queries, producing reports and providing analysis on reports/ dashboards.
• Resource Management support - including management of our resource management system and assisting with running workflow meetings etc.
• Supporting the Partners in relation to events/meetings; this may include logistics, preparing material and content and ensuring the event/meeting is a success.
 
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. We look for people with these sorts of attributes:
• Previous experience (minimum of two years) in a similar role, with a professional yet personable character.
• Strong organisational skills, seasoned at multitasking, prioritisation and juggling competing priorities. 
• Confident and client focused with the ability to build trust and communicate at all levels.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, higher proficiency in Word, and PowerPoint would be advantageous
• The desire to continually learn and be challenged is important in this role as is exceptional attention to detail and the creative use of initiative in forward planning.
• Experience working within a professional services/large corporate environment would be advantageous.
