Cross sector collaboration and the opportunity to work with a wide range of SMEs across the business are features of this opportunity.

About the team

The Infrastructure, Commercial and Government Advisory team within our Financial Advisory business provides a full range of advisory services including;  large scale capital projects and infrastructure, government policy and public sector decision making, procurement, programme design and implementation. We are a multidisciplinary team from diverse backgrounds that recognise the important role that government and private sector led infrastructure and service delivery projects play as an enabler of social and environmental outcomes and objectives, for example tackling key challenges such as climate change and carbon-neutrality goals.

We support clients with:

·         Project procurement, delivery and assurance
·         The provision of commercial, financial and transaction advisory services

·         Policy advice
·         Financial modelling
·         Program design and implementation

Enough about us, let’s talk about you! Ideally you are someone with:

·         A desire to be challenged and work in a dynamic environment.
·         Some exposure to infrastructure operations or project delivery, policy development, and business case development, preferably in either a consulting or advisory environment.
·         An ability to navigate the unknown when working on often complex issues and an ability to interpret and understand the key drivers of issues.
·         An understanding of, or interest in, major infrastructure projects and programmes, and how they can enable broader outcomes.
·         An interest in the public sector, and the drivers of government investment and decision making, including Business Case processes.
·         Experience working in multi-disciplinary and fast-paced environments.
·         Financial or quantitative analysis/modelling experience is favourable (but not essential).
·         A strong work ethic, self-starting attitude, and ability to deliver to project timetables.
·         Strong communication skills (written and spoken) and an ability to build client and internal relationships.
·         A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. commerce, law, engineering, public policy, accounting and finance, or other quantitative degree demonstrating strong numeracy and written communication).
