The AP Tax & Legal Strategy and Tax Technology teams within Deloitte AP Tax & Legal are responsible for driving growth and alignment within the Deloitte member firm network to deliver a consistent experience and the very best of Deloitte.
 
An exciting opportunity exists to join AP Tax & Legal. You will be working with AP Tax & Legal Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Geography Leaders, and Regional Service Line Leaders to support the execution of our business, transformation, and digital strategies.
 
Our strategy is focused on delivering a transformation agenda which will radically change AP T&L over as AP T&L deals with an ever-changing market, digital disruption, and global demands.
 
This role will report directly to the AP Tax & Legal Chief Strategy Officer, Tony Jasper and the AP Tax & Legal Chief Technology Officer, Tax Technology Consulting Leader (Acting), Digital Alliances Leader, Damian Cook.
 
It is an ideal role for a versatile, top performing, experienced Director who would like to gain experience working with the AP organization, build a global network, and develop significant understanding of AP T&L. It offers a unique opportunity to grow strategic planning and advisory skills, enhance operations management capabilities, and understand planning and execution of AP strategies.
 
This role would ideally be a permanent transfer, but we are also open for an initial 18-24 month secondment with the opportunity to extend or change to permanent transfer. 

Responsibilities:
Joint CSO and CTO responsibilities:
 
·       Support Tony and Damian to drive execution of AP Tax & Legal business and digital strategic strategies.
·       Support Tony and Damian on delivering strategic initiatives, by working with regional and strategic leaders, their supports, facilitating planning process, and managing centralized planning outputs for discussion and alignment.
·       Support Tony and Damian lead weekly and monthly meetings, prepare meeting materials as needed, facilitate meeting logistics, and track on follow-up actions.
 
Tony Jasper: CSO deliverables
 
- Understand organisational culture and determine and implement strategies to facilitate change across AP T&L.
- Develop and implement change management plans to facilitate transformation and to manage and minimise the impact of change on business operations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to identify objectives, concerns, and issues of key stakeholder groups.
- Develop and deliver reports detailing progress for the delivery of strategic priorities.
- Conduct stakeholder identification and impact assessment analyses to understand transformation impacts on disparate groups.
- Facilitate workshops to enable consultation with key stakeholders.
- Establish and deliver stakeholder engagement and communications activities.
- Liaise with training groups to develop training materials and to facilitate workshops, training, and communications sessions.
- Identify and analyse transformation risks, develop and implement associated risk mitigation plans.
 
Damian Cook: CTO, TTC and Digital Alliances deliverables
 
- Design and support the establishment of common change management principles across AP T&L to serve and support the successful delivery of digital initiatives.
- Engage with AP T&L Geography Alliance teams to drive growth of Alliances, engaging with key stakeholders on Alliance related initiatives, planning and execution.
- Manage AP T&L Geography Alliance teams to conduct revenue and pipeline analysis, track wins and pipelines on a regular basis.
- Drive AP T&L Asset management strategy in collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders (including priority assets).
- Facilitate workshops to enable consultation with key stakeholders.
- Establish and deliver stakeholder engagement and communications activities.
- Liaise with training groups to develop training materials and to facilitate workshops, training, and communications sessions.
- Identify and analyse digital and transformation risks, develop, and implement associated risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications:
·       Education:
o   Bachelor’s Degree.
o   Advanced degree in business administration preferred.
 
·       Years of Experience:
o   A minimum of 8-10 years of work experience that demonstrates superior management, communication, analysis and implementation experience.
o   Demonstrated confidence in internal client relationship and leadership management in a professional services environment.
 
·       Other attributes:
o   "Fast and self-driven learner” with ability to grasp heart of the business issues.
o   Self-starter with ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and deal with ambiguity.
o   Strong project management skills with attention to detail and thorough execution.
o   Strong understanding of DTTL and/or member firms’ client and industry programs.
o   Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
o   Excellent written and oral communications skills.
o   Capable of building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business areas, functions, and geographies.
o   Client service experience preferred.
o   Ability to develop internal executive level presentations.
