We are seeking an HR Advisor or Junior to join our Tāmaki-makau-rau/Auckland operation to provide generalist support to a variety of stakeholders and collaborate on nationwide people projects.

People and Performance is an award-winning team of 30+ based across New Zealand, who strive to add real commercial value to a firm where we believe we are better working together to achieve results. We provide HR support for an organisation of over 1700 people nationwide.  

What will your typical day include:
Supporting an HR Manager, this role will bring a diverse challenge, going beyond just employment relations and performance management, to exciting areas such as nurturing our high talent, assisting with graduate and summer intern recruitment, and building the leadership of tomorrow.  You will be supporting initiatives, co-ordinating programmes, acquiring and sharing knowledge, and facilitating activities to continue Deloitte’s culture journey.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:
·         Ideally a qualification in Human Resources
·         An awareness of professional services and what makes us tick.
·         Able to operate at pace, learn new information and apply it as they go.
·         A strong service ethic and a desire to constantly deliver to a high standard to our internal clients is a must have for success in this role.
·         Strong professional judgement in dealing with confidential and sensitive information is a given.
·         Energetic, creative and empathetic relationship builder
·         Strong organisation skills coupled with an acute attention to detail.
·         Commitment and motivation to continuous learning
