Our Technology Strategy and Transformation BU is looking for a consultant to join our Tāmaki-makau-rau/Auckland office.
 
About this team:

As a team of future-focused technologists, digital architects and strategists – we work across the full IT lifecycle from designing technology strategies and architecting solutions to running some of New Zealand’s largest technology transformation projects.
 
Your typical day will include:

·         Analyse and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
·         Conduct meetings or workshops with key stakeholders to diagnose business challenges/roadblocks and gather requirements.
·         Analyse the gathered requirements to identify gaps, dependencies, and priorities.
·         Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business needs.
·         Review test cases with the testing team to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
·         Conduct bug triaging for validation.
·         Handle and assist triage critical incidents raised by clients and end users.
·         Prepare and present relevant documentation to all key stakeholders for release deployment.
·         Lead release deployment and deliver communication to all key stakeholders.
·         Confidence to articulate business outcomes and translate requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
·         Prepare training materials or sessions for internal team and clients when needed.
·         Provide mentorship and peer support for junior team members in a fast-paced environment.
 
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

·         Has degree in Computing and Information Sciences, majoring in Software Development.
·         Has experience with government and public services industries, and/or life sciences and health care industries.
·         Expertise in using IT tools such as Confluence, Miro, Jira, Visio, Lucidchart and Azure DevOps board.
·         Has Cloud certificates including AWS Cloud Practitioner, ServiceNow HR Onboarding and Salesforce AI Associate.
·         Has leadership to provide mentorship to junior team members.
·         Has experience leading system deployment releases.
·         Thrives in challenging and fast-paced environment.
·         Has confidence in multi-tasking and prioritising critical tasks.
·         Has high communication skills with stakeholders of different levels of seniority.
