Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Administrative Services Manager (Journeyman) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQE which provides executive support and independent recommendations on key acquisition issues that cut across all SAF/AQ organizations (including the General Counsel of the Department of the Air Force, Acquisition, Technology, & Logistics Division (SAF/GCQ)) for direct use by the assistant secretary and military deputy.
***This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin July 2023***
What you'll be doing:
- Typically performs all functional duties independently
- Responsible for schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others
- Use discretion and judgement and knowledge of organization to facilitate the executive's activities
- Conserve executive's time by reading, researching, prioritizing, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collects and analyzes information; and initiates communications
- Manage executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
- Complete and manage projects, distribute work to other AQE contracted personnel, follow up on results
- Work closely with Executive Officer(s) and other assigned support staff
- Plan and orchestrate complex and detailed meetings and events at the Pentagon and NCR locations
- Handle confidential information, correspondence, and communications
What you'll need:
- BA/BS; 6 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. Associate degree plus 4 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
- Years of experience: 3-10
- 3 years work experience supporting a GO/SES or similar role
- Provide support to Senior Executives that ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with staff and other military/government executives
- Handles a wide range of executive support-related tasks involving administrative functions, research, and management of tasks and projects
- Previous executive support experience at the HAF (or equivalent staff) is highly desirable
- Secret Security Clearance
