Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking Science and Technology (S&T) Planning Analyst to work with the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) to provide Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) services to HQ AFGSC/ST with essential expertise and capabilities to ensure AFGSC’s conventional and non-conventional responsibilities are met.

Anticipated start date May 2023

What you will be doing:

    • Assist the ST staff in, and in some instances lead, developing IDP and STIC processes and requirements and educating AFGSC members at AFGSC installations.
    • Assist the ST staff in partnership with other HQ staff functions in developing and implementing state of the art capabilities to optimize AFGSC organizational constructs and performance to more effectively manage the operations of the HQ and staff functions and improve cross functional collaboration across the staff directorates.
    • Research and provide recommendations on new content collection and strategies, including leveraging best practices from across industry.
    •  Develop, plan, and coordinate processes, tracking tools, and checklist(s) for direct implementation of processes and products supporting the Command’s cross functional collaboration activities.
    • Assist the ST office in partnership with other HQ staff functions in preparing trip reports, leadership briefings, and provide constant oversite of all cross functional collaboration activities.
    • Serve as coordinator, and in some cases lead, for projects requiring extensive staff coordination when related directly to current or future HQ cross functional collaboration activities.

What you will need:

    • Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) eligibility.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science or related field.
    • Experience working with data analytics and data visualization tools.
    • High working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 enterprise solutions including Excel, Access, and SharePoint platforms.
    • Ability to design simple and effective dashboards from multiple data sources.
    • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage complex projects and work with multiple stakeholders.
    • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the Agile Development Process.
    • Experience with Cloud infrastructure/architecture and various implementations by different commercial providers.
    • Working knowledge of robotic process improvement and similar methodologies.
    • Hands-on experience developing applications/software using industry standard languages and best practices.
