Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a Business Reengineering Analyst (Senior) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQX which provides expert advice and integrated acquisition positions to the Service Acquisition Executive (SAE), AF leadership, PEOs and Program Managers (PMs) on planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and acquisition oversight/reporting for AF acquisition programs. Serves as the SAF/AQ focal point for urgent needs, requirements, program integration, Earned Value Management, affordability, business tool, policy, and acquisition reform initiatives.
This position supports SAF/AQX Defense Industrial Base (DIB) activities such as Defense Production Act Title I & III, mergers, Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facilities and is responsible for developing approximately 350 industrial engagement packages annually.

What you'll be doing:
- Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
- Provide technical and administrative support including data source, data capture, data warehousing, system architecture, web presentation, and data analysis and data presentation
- Collect, analyze & distribute information on Air Force Programs and key Government contractors and suppliers to support requests from Senior DAF Leadership
- Profile and characterize key contracting and budgeting data systems for loading into the data warehouse
- Create, improve, and maintain the office SharePoint website, including document storage and file structure, tasking capabilities, contacts, and access controls
- Evaluate and support efforts to purchase and implement commercial data sources and applications (ex. Dun & Bradstreet Family Tree Finder, Capital IQ, and Carroll's) to meet mission requirements.
- Evaluate and support efforts to purchase and implement commercial data sources and applications (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) Hoovers and, Standard & Poor's (S&P) Capital IQ) to meet mission requirements.
- Define requirements for existing Air Force applications to better accommodate data needs, such as incorporation of business segment data in other AQ data repositories
- Analyze and make detailed recommendations for connecting key data fields (e.g. contractor identity, location, contract, and program data)
- Serve as project lead for improving and maintaining the industry data warehouse, including interface to key industry and program data from FPDS-NG, Project Management Resource Tool (PMRT), and other commercial and government sources
- Provide current and new in-depth analysis, data manipulation, and data presentation, including contract data, program performance data, and company financials
- Provide general administrative support such as creation of/responses to RFIs through Air Force TMT, creation/maintenance of organizational metrics, rosters, and continuity products

- MA/MS; 12 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree. BA/BS degree plus 8 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
