Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a full-time PC/Customer Support Technician to join our corporate team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate must have thorough knowledge of PC and server hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
What you will be doing:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers in support of business processing requirements.
- Installing and configuring application and operating system software and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues
- Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines
- Creating user accounts and managing access control based on company policies
- Developing and promoting standard operating procedures
- Conducting routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
What you will need:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Must have Security + certification within 6 months of start date
- Proficient in English language (oral and written)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work in an independent environment with remote supervision
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated capability to achieve results under pressure in a fast-paced client driven environment
- Regular attendance is required
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with a wide range of end-users: from new computer users to knowledgeable developers
- Assist with other duties and special projects, as directed by IT Director
- Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

- Must be able to lift 35 pounds occasionally
- Ability to remain a stationary position for up to 50% of the time
- Position Type/Expected hours worked:
- This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. (flexible start/end times). Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required
- Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic experience in communicating IT technologies, issues, and solutions to clients with varying levels of technical knowledge and understanding
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 10
- Experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft Office 365 and Windows compatible applications
- Understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and how to troubleshoot
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and differentiate between hardware and software problems and work to resolution
- Experience working with Dell and Microsoft Surface Devices
- Preferred Education and Experience: 2- 3 years of technical and client support in an information technology environment, highly preferred
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent related experience, highly preferred
- Knowledge of MS Server Operating Systems; Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 administration, a plus
- Knowledge of Grandstream VoIP phone system, a plus
- Knowledge of Windows server platforms, network diagnostic tools, Active Directory, DHCP and VPN troubleshooting, a plus
- CompTIA IT Technician or Microsoft Certified IT Professional designation, a plus
