Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a Mission Planner at Schriever AFB, CO. This position directly supports the Combat Air Force (CAF) by employing live and virtual space threat systems that are representative of our adversary’s use of space and space control capabilities.
What you will be doing:
- Support the planning of exercises that contain SATCOM, ASN, Orbital Warfare, and GPS EA.
- Create and support the drafting/staffing/tracking of exercise approval packages.
- Support drafting/staffing/tracking of GPS EA requests. Produce GPS RPM interference contours and GIANT Jammer to Signal ratio (J/S) contour plots. Utilize Government provided hardware/software to complete this task.
- Support drafting/staffing/tracking Counterspace Activity Approval Packages (CAAPs).
- Support drafting/staffing/tracking Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) SATCOM EA requests, Satellite Access Requests, Deconfliction Support Request (DSR).
- Review the 25 SRS published Operations Directives (OD) to ensure Space Aggressor exercise requirements are met. Advise SAP and the Aggressor Mission Commander of any discrepancies, errors, and potential conflicts with Aggressor requirements and resources.
- Coordinate with Regional SATCOM Support Centers (RSSC), satellite owner/operators, Space Delta 5 (DEL 5) Radio Frequency Deconfliction, Combined Forces Space Component Command (CFSCC), and other external agencies as required to ensure requests are received and processed.
What you will need:
- Experience with the Integrated Multiple Antenna Terminal Electronics (IMATE)
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance on the AN/TSC-179 Ground Multi-Band Terminal (GMT) High Wind Antenna
- Experience with Maintenance and troubleshooting for GPS systems
- Knowledge on MODEMS, Amplifiers, and circular antennas
- 4+ years’ experience in Electronic Warfare in C, X, Ku, Ka, and UHF bands
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
