Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst (e-Business) (Senior) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQC which is the Air Force’s lead contracting representative on the Air Staff responsible for developing and executing innovative business strategies and cost-effective contracting solutions to enable the global Air Force mission.
***This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin July 2023***
What you'll be doing:
- Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
- Perform research, analysis, and assessments of information technology systems
- Provide technology and process road maps that indicate how, when, and at what cost technologies (hardware and software solutions) and other process improvements may be integrated into existing automated information systems for both procurement processes and Air Force classified acquisition programs
- Provide technical and operational recommendations
- Analyze existing and future automated information systems
- Support data management, data migration between systems, Verification and Validation, data improvement, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) - related projects and report
- Maintain, develop, and analyze planning, scheduling, and management data
- Research and analyze program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions
- Assist with implementation of program requirements
- Provide recommendations on the allocation of funding, establishment of program goals, objectives, and schedules, and the formulation of program direction
- Identify and research programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules
- Review and evaluate the impact of Federal, DoD, and U.S. Air Force (USAF) policies and activities that affect Air Force Contracting Business Systems Division programs and capability areas
- Perform administrative duties such as maintain calendars, manage travel arrangements, setting up and Maintain file plans, maintain records, and executing administrative policies, greeting visitors, and answering phones. Typical duties also include receiving and managing correspondence, and action item tasking and tracking including monitoring deadlines and reviewing correspondence for correctness
What you'll need:
- MA/MS; 12 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree. BA/BS degree plus 8 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.
- Years of experience: >10
- Personnel in this position shall have experience in Federal and DoD e-business and contracting systems (e.g., Standard Procurement System, ConWrite, Automated Contract Preparation System (ACPS)), e-business and contracting automation tools (e.g., Federal Procurement System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Wide-Area- Workflow (WAWF), and Automated Business Service System
- Secret Security Clearance
