Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team to support US Space Command (USSPACECOM) J4 construction and facility maintenance projects. USSPACECOM maintains multiple facilities in the Colorado Springs area including locations on Peterson and Schriever Space Force Bases, Newport Drive, and Bayfield Drive. Over time, these facilities require repairs, upgrades, and potentially new construction projects. Facility Management Support provides escorts who perform security access verification, monitoring, and tracking, of trades contractors performing work in these facilities.
An active TS/SCI is required for these positions.
What you will be doing:
- Monitoring uncleared construction crews in USSPACECOM facilities up to the Top Secret/Secure Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level. Team members ensure construction crews are under constant surveillance and are not given access to controlled or classified information or equipment.
- Assisting during emergency action procedures (EAP) to ensure SCIFs and collateral areas are continuously protected.
- Performing escort duties for uncleared and emergency personnel by verifying visits prior to entry, logging SCIF visitor access/exit, providing security briefings and visitor badges, inspecting hand carried items prior to entry, activating alerting systems and maintaining positive control and surveillance of uncleared personnel while in the SCIF.
- Performing light facility duties such as debris removal, limited snow/ice removal, furniture movements within a facility or to/from storage on facility grounds, receiving/storing supplies, and similar tasks.
- Working an average 8-9 hour daily schedule with start and finish times that can vary based on project requirements between the hours of 0600-1800 Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work is possible but must be approved in advance by USSPACECOM and the Delta Solutions Program Manager.
- Commuting between facilities during the workday as project needs require. Expected transportation costs are factored into the salary considerations for this position. Local travel is not a reimbursable expense. Care will be taken by USSPACECOM and Delta Solutions to minimize the amount of driving required daily.
What you will need:
- Knowledge and experience implementing standard SCI Facility security processes and procedures.
- Ability to analyze situations and make well informed recommendations.
- Excellent communicator and effective team member.
- Excellent customer service skills – polite, helpful, patient – with good writing and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and Security discipline
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relevant Security or Facility Management experience in lieu of degree.
- Major Command, Field Command, or Combatant Command experience.
- TS/SCI clearance required.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
