Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Software Developer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will focus on full-lifecycle development for Missile Warning training software. Successful candidates should be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities preferred with a Space background.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide full-spectrum software life cycle: design, develop, implement, and maintain applications on Microsoft Windows-based systems.
- Perform agile software development in both unclassified and classified environments while utilize software engineering best practices of unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
- Interact with customers to gather requirements and offering creative solutions, writing documentation, presenting project designs, performing user training, and attending requirements meetings.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Analyze user requirements
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another relevant field
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience with Java, C++, or C# .Net (preferred), development in a DoD environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Active Secret preferred (but not required)
- Experience or understanding of ITW/AA, Missile Warning, OPIR, UEWR, NDS or MDA ground/sea based sensors highly preferred
- Candidate must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and work well in a team environment and perform independently

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $95,000-$130,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
