SAF/AQB - Planner (Journeyman)

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a Planner (Journeyman) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQB which is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities.

***This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin July 2023***

What you'll be doing:

    • Typically performs all functional duties independently
    • Coordinate, track, and report travel arrangements for SAB conference attendees
    • Develop trip books and agendas for SAB meetings
    • Compile read-ahead materials
    • Identify and schedule briefers
    • Process travel vouchers in DTS
    • Coordinate meeting logistics to include travel itineraries, transportation, and food
    • Inform guest speakers of potential discussion topics
    • Engage SAB members and external stakeholders on travel-related items
    • Track and report SAB member’s time worked, travel order status, travel voucher status, meeting, and attendee status, etc
    • Develop conference registration information
    • Develop metrics, track performance, periodically report performance metrics, and make improvement recommendations
    • Participate in specials projects and perform other necessary duties in support of SAB
    • Provide executive support to 55+ senior-level Scientific Advisory Board members
    • Handle confidential and classified (Secret/TS-SCI) information, correspondence, and communications

What you'll need:

    • BA/BS; 6 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. Associate degree plus 4 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
    • Years of experience: 3-10
    • Proficiency with MS Access
    • Great attention to detail
    • Ability to complete duties independently
    • Intermediate knowledge of Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR) and Privacy Act regulations
    • Familiarity with Air Force protocol
    • TS/SCI Security Clearance
