Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Project Manager to support our United States Space Force Special Operations Element (USSFSOE) customer at MacDill AFB, FL. This position will develop, implement, and control contractual, financial, and technical aspects of unique project/program.
What you will be doing:
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate activities of functional specialists including contracting, engineering, requirements, program control, configuration/data management, test, and logistics.
- Review and direct the progress in meeting program objectives.
- Represent the organization at executive levels within the Government and to contractor/industry representatives.
- Prepare, presents, defends, and interprets staff studies to the executive levels within the Government and/or other management officials.
- Plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of subsystems or equipment, and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of acquisition functions and personnel in support of the process.
- Apply knowledge of military and commercial space operations as they apply to programs and systems.
- Oversee, develop, and recommend modifications to systems and programs around doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operations for the organization.
What you will need:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the USSF, Air Force, joint military, and other entities that govern, interface with, and/or influence the acquisition process.
- Proven ability to design and conduct comprehensive studies related to space products and operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present findings and recommendations clearly to management and stakeholders.
- Experience in applying knowledge of space, cyber, and intelligence operations to program analysis and system evaluations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects and priorities.
