Delta Solutions is seeking a Joint Planning SME to support the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) in the J35 Directorate at Peterson AFB, CO. This position supports USSPACECOM J35 which is a subordinate Division to the J3. It is comprised of three (3) Branches: J351 Contingency Operations Branch; J352 Campaign and integration Branch; and J353 Human Space Flight Support (HSFS) Branch. The Contingency Operations Branch is located on Schriever AFB and is comprised of three (3) Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) that are adversary focused.

What you'll be doing:

    • Execute adversary-based planning within a 60 day to 2 years horizon
    • Synchronize and integrate with Campaign and Contingency plans
    • Support and execute Operational Planning Teams (OPTs)
    • Produce and/or review concepts of operations (CONOPS), orders, and other instructions as directed
    • Support the planning and execution of Joint Staff and USSPACECOM exercises and war-games

What you'll need:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience of space planning, preferably joint planning
    • Experience at the CCMD or Component level
    • Experience with an Ops Planning Team or Joint Planning Group
    • Ability to provide subject matter expertise in Space Operations mission areas (SDA, SATCOM, PNT, ISR, EMI)
    • An active TS/SCI Clearance is required to be considered for this position

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $95,000-$115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
