SAF/AQB - Administrative Specialist (Journeyman)

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Administrative Specialist (Journeyman) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQB which is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities.
***This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin July 2023***
What you'll be doing:
- Typically performs all functional duties independently
- Track and report travel arrangements.
- Process and distributing travel orders.
- Process travel vouchers in DTS
- Set-up and maintain file plan
- Engage SAB members and external stakeholders on travel-related items
- Track and report SAB member’s time worked, travel order status, travel voucher status, meeting, and attendee status, etc
- Create, edit, and maintain MS Access and SharePoint databases
- Perform reconciliations between databases
- Maintain records and execute government administrative policies
- Receive and distribute mail, manage correspondence, and action item tasking and tracking including monitoring deadlines in TMT, and review correspondence for correctness
- Manage the organizational calendar
- Independently review outgoing correspondence and ensuring handling requirements for classified material are accurately followed
What you'll need:
- BA/BS; 6 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. Associate degree plus 4 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
- Years of experience: 3-10
- Proficiency with MS Access, Air Force Public Information Management System, Task Management Tool (TMT), and AF Portal
- Strong attention to detail, knowledge of the JTFR, Privacy Act regulations and CUI handling
- Secret Security Clearance
