Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst (Journeyman) to potentially join our team in Washington DC. This position supports SAF/AQR which serves as the Air Force S&T Executive, Air Force Acquisition Chief Engineer and Technical Authority, the Air Force Corrosion Control and Prevention Executive, Air Force Standardization Executive, and functional manager for the S&E career field. Develops and implements plans, policies, and procedures for Air Force S&T, laboratory management, technology transition (to include Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTD)), Technology Cooperation Program, technology transfer, development planning (DP), and experimentation.
This position assists the limited SAF/AQR Government staff with management of taskers, internal process, and program management through maintaining and analyzing plans, schedules, and management data across the division.
***This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin July 2023***
What you'll be doing:
- Typically performs all functional duties independently
- Support HAF Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) oversight and decision-making activities by coordinating staff actions for AQR divisions to support SAE
- Maintain and analyze planning, scheduling, and management data
- Integrate SAF/AQR divisions through consistent communication and coordination across the Directorate
- Setup and maintain file plans and maintain records (including IT hardware inventory records)
- Execute administrative policies within the SAF/AQR divisions
- Manage data repositories on network drives and monitoring organizational inboxes
- Provide organizational workflow management support via managing the TMT program
- Create, review, assign, and close tasks within the AQR divisions
- Monitor deadlines, issue follow-up correspondence, and reviewing correspondence for accuracy
- Provide regular status of organizational workflow at staff meetings
- Act as a liaison between the AQR divisions to manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate communications
- Study, analyze, and provide recommendations on requirements, strategies, program documentation, supplemental information, and program execution
- Research and analyze program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions
- Track and ensuring compliance with stated program direction and regulations
- Review and provide data to assist in preparation for program documentation, briefing packages and read-aheads
- Provide weekly or ad-hoc reports to leadership on AQR projects/tasks
- Receive and distribute mail, greeting visitors, and answering phones, on occasion when backup support is needed
What you'll need:
- BA/BS; 6 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. Associate degree plus 4 years relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
- Years of experience: 3-10
- Relevant program analyst experience in a System Program Office and/or HAF required
- Secret Security Clearance
