It is a long term pursuit and one we could use your help achieving — we’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead hardware development and help guide our product roadmap.  

In this role, we’re looking for an innovative leader driven by a passion for building world class products. Requirements include in-depth experience in all aspects of electronics: specification, simulation, product development, component selection, design verification and certification, deployment, and maintenance. You should be equally comfortable laying out a complex system in CAD as you are conducting an effective design review with a large team. Ideally, you are a great communicator and thrive in a fast-paced small team environment.

Must Haves:

    • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
    • BSEE degree (MSEE degree preferred)
    • Ability to define architecture requirements and develop product specs based on general product requirements
    • Experience in embedded systems architecture design including the optimization of solutions across digital, analog, DSP and software
    • Ability to work in close cooperation with a cross-functional team of professionals
    • Digital design expertise including multi-processors and high speed buses
    • Extensive analog design and simulation experience with high performance and low noise circuits
    • Skilled in working within challenging power and thermal constraints
    • Experience working in Altium Designer (17 and newer)
    • Ability to manage and contribute to complex PCB layout of demanding mixed signal circuits, including design for high speed signal integrity and EMI 
    • Discipline in managing all design considerations including performance, thermal, reliability, tolerance stack-up, component specs, manufacturability, and sourcing
    • Leadership in following robust design methodology including conducting technical reviews across multi-functional teams
    • Experience managing vendors and outsourced resourcesImpeccable organization and documentation skills
    • Exposure to FMEA and FTA analysis, six sigma practices and statistical techniques
    • High volume consumer product experience
