In addition to starting a new health plan, Devoted Health, Inc has launched Devoted Medical Group (DMG), an innovative, world-class, home-based care program in South Florida and Houston, Texas with plans to expand that cares for patients in their home.  The purpose of DMG is to provide all the care that our patients need that is not currently available between a member’s PCP and the hospital. This includes care for frail, older adults who can’t always make it in to see their doctor, patients recently discharged from the hospital, and patients who have gaps in their care or have not seen a PCP recently. We need an Operations Associate to help our team run smoothly while gaining momentum to take on expanded enrollment in the years to come. 

Responsibilities will include:

    • New Program Development
    • Development and building of new clinical programs, including documenting processes, problem solving desired program elements, and partnership across the organization.
    • Reporting & Communication - creating technical dashboards, documenting periodic reports, and managing stakeholder communications to our stakeholders. 
    • Daily operations of new programs - ensure programs are constructed to run as automated as possible, with clear success metrics Integration of new products into current operations to streamline growth.
    • Support a scrappy, positive, quality-committed team culture. 
    • Workflow design and implementation - continuously find opportunities for efficiency or efficacy improvements and work with partners internal to Devoted and vendors to push for better patient and provider experiences and outcomes. 

    • Health Plan Partnership
    • Engage with cross-functional team across health plan to understand Clinical goals and service needs.
    • Work with DMG leadership team to design, test, and implement service lines to meet these needs, measure resulting contribution to health plan, and iterate to maximize value.

    • Clinical Support
    • Ensure our Clinicians are able to work at the top of their license and fully identify the diagnoses of our members by working with stakeholders to develop market-leading analytical and operational tools.
    • Become an expert on how CMS manages payment flows and documentation.
    • Manage to metrics - understand practice priorities, track best practice adherence and work with underperformers to improve performance.
    • Communicate frequently with team members and leadership; ensure all follow up tasks are closed out.

    • You have excellent attention to detail and follow through, ensuring no patient’s need gets left behind
    • You excel at solving complex problems but you’re also very happy to make a “to do” list, roll up your sleeves, and get these tasks done
    • You are aware of what you know and are able to ask for help when you don’t
    • You have a passion for making healthcare better; supporting the delivery of care that we would want for your own family members
    • You enjoy a fast-paced, high-energy, growing organization

Desired skills and experience:

    • Ability to work in a startup, fast-paced environment 
    • Relentless attention to detail in managing follow ups for our patients
    • 2+ years professional experience in Operations or Program Development 
    • Skills to manage schedules, logistics, purchasing … all the day-to-day details of running a business
    • Familiarity with care delivery and payment operations
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders (patients, colleagues, and clinicians outside the organization) from a variety of backgrounds, organizational levels and cultures
