About the Role 

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining daily operations in a warehouse. Job duties will include tracking inventory, kitting material, receiving incoming material, and all general warehouse tasks. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle count regularly. You will also help maintain the warehouse cleanliness and security. 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Understanding of warehouse storage plans and warehouse operations

Perform daily cycle counts as assigned

Verifying materials against receiving, shipping, storage and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damage

Routing materials to prescribed storage, freight forward and/or shipping locations

Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods

Managing and taking inventory of received, shipped and/or stored materials daily

Removing material from storage/receipt areas and preparing it for manufacturing and shipment purposes

Process and/or affix, receipt, shipment, storage, pick/pack and other paperwork and reports as required

Operates hand or power trucks and/or forklift in performing warehousing duties

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1+ year warehouse working experience

Must be physically able to perform heavy manual labor up to 40 lbs 

Team player and a “can-do” attitude

Exceptional  organizational, verbal, written and time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Problem solver and initiator 

Willingness to take on projects and tasks outside daily responsibilities 

Ability to work and adapt in a rapidly changing environment that requires you to take on more responsibilities

Experience with inventory management and ERP systems (Oracle - NetSuite a plus)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Great physical stamina and manual dexterity Must be physically able to perform heavy manual labor up to 40 lbs or more

Operating Machinery: Forklift, dolly, carts 

Prolonged sitting and heavy lifting, including sitting in front of a computer

Loud noisy work environment with temperature change due to seasons
