Position Summary:

Diaceutics’ Scientific & Advisory Services Division (SAS) engages with pharmaceutical clients to deliver valuable insights and be a thought partner in Precision Medicine (PM) and diagnostic strategy. The PM Strategy Advisor will lead the engagement with our pharmaceutical clients representing the Scientific & Advisory Services Division and services while acting as a consultant and thought partner across all Diaceutics offerings.

The PM Strategy Advisor will have account and revenue responsibilities working cross-functionally within the account team to grow business within selected accounts whilst still being a critical asset to project delivery, responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of client projects. 

The primary purpose of the position is to use expertise in PM eg. Commercialization, market access, market landscape analysis, assay development/partnering, companion diagnostics, scientific communication, etc. to ensure engagement with our clients and execution of high-quality client projects.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1.    Responsible for understanding the customer journey and experience, ensuring that customers receive the value that they expect from the projects delivered to them.
2.    Create and implement strategies across the business that maximize customer loyalty, increase retention and ultimately revenue.
3.    Lead key strategic projects with clients.
4.    Participate in client engagements to define project requirements, understand client’s pain points and match to Diaceutics solutions.
5.    Support achievement of account revenue targets through proactive technical pre-sales support and client/partner meetings.
6.    Utilize all of the insights from sales, marketing, product and finance to develop strategies that stay ahead of customers’ demands.
7.    Represent Scientific & Advisory Services within the allocated Account Team. Each Account Team is responsible for 1-5 clients.
8.    Support the Account Team to identify opportunities for Diaceutics solutions with a focus on Scientific & Advisory Services.
9.    Support the Account Team for inputs into proposals and SOWs for client projects.
10.  Approve proposals and SOWs for Scientific & Advisory Services on client projects.
11.  Act as Account Lead for specific clients.
12.  Act as a coach across other Advisory Services projects.
13.  Ensure projects are developed and delivered to the highest possible standard.  Drive the company “delight, don’t just deliver” motto.
14.  Be the guardian of quality of content in all client deliverables leading to client delight and secure Diaceutics position to be the preferred partner to work with.
15.  Maintain a thorough appreciation of Diaceutics client’s business and strategies and propose solutions to add value for both current and future requirements.
16.  Proactively participate in cross-functional initiatives across divisions and other support functions to contribute to team-specific and company-wide revenue targets.
17.  Apply strategic and critical thinking in all projects to point out “why does this matter” and essential conclusions.
18.  Proactively develop a broader and deeper knowledge of the related pharmaceutical market through on-the-job experience and participation in training opportunities.
19.  Leverage analytical techniques to use data to guide client and Diaceutics team decision-making.
20.  Proactively continues to develop specific subject matter expertise through on-the-job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
21.  Being able to share knowledge attained in subject matter area(s) of expertise with the broader Scientific & Advisory Services team and company where required.


General Education and Experience:
•Education – Bachelor’s degree is required.  Advanced degree MBA, Master’s, PharmD, Medical Degree preferred.
•Experience – 5+ years experience in the field of Precision Medicine (PM) and IVD is required, additional experience in consulting is preferred.  For example, working in the pharmaceutical industry, for a diagnostic company, in healthcare consulting, or within a clinical laboratory.
•Computer and Software Knowledge and Skills – Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced PowerPoint and Excel users preferred.  
•Virtual Communication – demonstrated expertise with internet-based teleconferencing and communication technology and global teleconferencing platforms is strongly desired.
•Customer service – demonstrate high attention to detail and an exceptional customer service ethos.
